There have been literaly 1,000's of cars here losing readings from the gas gauge causing many motorists to run out of gas.
The supplier blames it on high sulfer content eating the coils away on the in-tank gauge.I can only imagine what it's done to the rest of the fuel system.
The company is repairing these damaged cars but only after jumping thru some hoops and proving you purchased their gas.
I'm fortunate it hasn't to me and now there's a shortage of replacement parts and the company will only pay for one days rental for a car.
Is this happening anywhere else?At least the supplier is taking responsability.
