Trunk Lid Height Adjustment 700

I've found one reference to this in the archives and nothing in the FAQ...

My trunk leaks at the rear window. Compared to other 700s I have looked at, the trunk lid sits a few mm too high at the front allowing water to pass by the seal. I have read that there is an adjustment on the hinge but I cannot figure out how to access it. Does the panel behind the rear seat have to come out? It looks like the seatbelt retractor mechanism would be in the way...
