How to remove electric cooling fan blade from motor? 700 1991

Howdy,

Somehow the electric cooling fan blade became warped or is bent at the axle. I think it's more likely the latter. It rattles and rubs like crazy when it runs. There is some sort of clip in the center of the front of the fan blade. Does anyone know how to get this off to separate the fan blade from the motor / fan frame?
