Replacing M47 front seal(?)

I just paid a guy to replace my M45 with an M47. It shows up that he didn't make the clutch release arm stick properly, so the clutch is slipping due to the release bearing getting stuck. He has agreed to redo the job, but in the meantime I have discovered that the tranny leaks in the front, between the bellhousing and the gearbox. I guess it must be a dried up oil seal or the gasket that is at fault? The tranny drips even when standing still. The tranny has been standing without oil for about a year. I've bought a new (original) gasket, a front oil seal and new transmission mount (since I also discovered that this was slightly different for the M47 transmission).

The guy who replaced the tranny isn't to blame for the leakage, since he didn't provide the transmission. I'll therefore have to fix this myself, but want to do it while the tranny's on the ground anyway. It would be nice with some instructions and opinions, just to make sure I don't waste that much time doing it (I'll occupy his garage).

Best regards,

Lars Erik
