TD 6141 radio installment....the saga continues. 700 1987

I got my TD 6141 radio installed in a '87 740 GLE which was purchased without radio. Problem is, the place I took it to couldn't figure out how to reconnect the rear speakers to the Volvo amp. Does this have something to do with "common ground" wiring? If it's fairly simple I could probably do it myself.
