for court reasons, i need some answers to the following questions:

how often should the timing belt be changed on my 92 960? soemone is trying to tell me because its a volvo, it doesnt need it as often and can go twice as long as anyother car before it needs it changed....

before i bought the car i had it looked at buy my mechanic, is it possible/feesable for the mechanic to check the timing belt?
