Powerseat problems 900 1995

My drivers seat has a problem with forward/aft control. The right side will not move when the left moves. I read the faq and understand it will probably be a rounded cable but I am having problems taking the motor out to get to the cable and this isn't discussed too well. I have the seat out of the car at this time. any help on the motor would be appreciated.
