My '89 240DL idles fast after after highway speeds or heavy acceleration.This has been going on since I cleaned the throttle body.Idle is fine after restarting the motor.Thought I ruined the throttle position switch by getting carb. cleaner in it.I've tried two used switches on it - still does the same thing.This is my first time posting a message , but this site has helped me solve some problems.Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
