Well, once more I own a 121 (number 10 I think).
Sold the `69 last winter, didīnt think I would buy another one again.
However, since the old Mercedes didīnt want to keep the coolingwater inside
of the engine(cracked head), I needed a everyday car asap.
Wasīnt going to buy a 121, was looking for a cheap, 5-speed, small car.
But when a scruffy looking `67 121 showed up, it was mine with in a few hours
(must have had an blackout).
Well, whatīs done is done, and I must confess that I doīnt regret buying it that much.
It handles really well(new bushings in the rear), and is fairly quiet inside. However, the old B18 isīnt what it was 30 years ago(pushed it to 95mph and when I let up the pedal it left a blue smokecloud that more or less covered the entire road).
Have an 2150cc B20 with Phase2 head, lightened flywheel, balanced, R-cam, 4-2-1 header that works really well, but Iīve sold the Weber 45:s.
Maybe Iīll restrain my self and just restore an oem b20.
Hmm, Iīm sure I have a M30 rear axle with limited slip diff and 5,38 ratio some where in the garage, where did I put that close ratio gearbox....
Have a nice summer!, Amazonet.
