My dad and I mounted the 79 "flat hood" onto the 84 today. In my haste to get it mounted I closed it all the way before we had aligned it completely. Now it will not un-latch. It is out of alignment by about 1/8". It is turned towards the passenger side.
Is there any way I can undo the latch?
