Outside Rear View Mirror Glass Adhesive Reccommendations...need one 900

My mirror image started to shake and vibrate, and I reached out just in time to catch the glass as it hung by a thread. Lucky me, huh?

What is a suitable adhesive that would be flexible and bond glass to the substrate in the mirror housing?

Would Devcon or a automotive moulding adhesive do the trick?
