My 86 240 sedan's front passanger door frame has completly rusted through at the window frame. Strange spot to rust out. I've got a mint red door now, but it may be cheaper to just get a door in the right color. The color is 1986 silver. I'm in the N.W. Ohio, southern Michigan area.
My other alternatives are:
1. using the red door and having a body shop match the paint (big $$$)
2. bondo the heck out of the window frame and spray it black (cheap fix).
3. Replace the doors and two tone the whole car, silver on top, color on bottom (big $$$ but a cool effect)
Any suggestions. Cut up a junk door and weld on another window frame?
