But my old 82 244 DL rare LH-1 kept him safe. The Ford Windstar that hit him was a mess. The Volvo while smashed pretty bad was still driveable. He was spun 3 times and ended up facing the opposite direction. Apparently he didn't notice the stop sign in a rural part of NJ, big farm area. Well now goes the task of finding a replacement car. Hasn't been easy so far. He and the others involved were all ok luckily. I too insist my children all drive Volvos, Boxy and safe!!
