Volvo 740 GL Torque Converter 700 1989

I recently installed a new engine into my 740. Now, the transmission won't engage in ANY gears. I poured in transmission fluid and the fluid started coming up through the FILLER TUBE. I also noticed that no fluid is coming from the trans. to the rediator via the cooling lines.

I'm starting to think that I incorrectly installed the TORQUe COnVERter. Is there anyone out there who knows how to CORRECTLY install the converter? If so, how will I know when it is installed CORRECTLY?
