Need to revive drowned Volvo 700 1986

Just towed car back home after hitting flooded street at night (was just down it 15 minutes prior and no water). Water entered car so tomorrow morning will remove seats and carpeting.

Waiting for tow, fuel pump relay started chattering. Now I know I have electrical short, so yanked relay. After getting home put relay back in and got a solid lock on start. I would assume this is from started having been flooded (looks like a new starter). Yanked battery cable and deal with it in morning.

I'm looking for suggestions for things to consider (especially anyone with experience of water damaged Volvo). Maybe I'll just have to start pulling thing apart to see what electrical problem is. I have put alot of love'n $ into this car and runs like a dream with 230,000 or so miles.

TIA

Gary
