Will A Honda Accord Attenna Fit Into A Volvo 240...Can It Be MADE To Fit? 200 1988

I am selling off, via ebay, a '91 Honda Accord that my wife wrecked. We had a Honda retractable attenna installed shortly before she wrecked the car and I would like to retrieve it for my Volvo, along with the rest of the CD player and speakers. My 1988 240 has one of those little rubber stub atttenas and it is bad. I was wondering if I can make the Honda part to fit and work in the Volvo? Any suggestions?
