Towing an 1800 behind a motorhome.

This is a follow-up to a question I asked about towing my 1800 to Volvo meets a few months ago. I also put in a request for an answer to Volvo Canada and recently had a reply from a gentleman in the Volvo Technical Department who said that towing a Volvo 1800ES with a J-type overdrive behind a motorhome would cause no problem providing that the transmission is in neutral.

I know this contradicts the replies I received on this forum but thought you might be interested.
