Magic engine revs 900

Hi all, Sorry for the Trouble

I have just tried this; i parked the Volvo on a flat surface with no hang brakes on and in neutral and the engine ticking over. As I get out of the car and start to push the car with my hands a short distance, the engine revs up from 750 to 1100 RPM and when I stop the car with my hands without using any brakes, the engine revs down from 1100 RPM to 750 RPM. Will any one know about this because it sounds magic (Weird)

P.s its sounds like to me that the engine knows when the wheels are turning
