While I was at the beach with my family, including my mother-in-law who is on a new medication she managed to "keep my keys safe" by making them completely disappear. The person who came to make us a new key (that is a lesson for everyone to keep a spare stashed somewhere) tore the crap out of my door panel while trying to remove the door lock cylinder (took him over an hour just to get the door open). Anyway, afterwards on my way home it was made apparent that the rear brake lights had ceased to work as a result of a dead bulb out relay (I diagnosed the problem later). Do I just have really bad luck, or is it possible the two incidents are related?
