To bench bleed or not to bench bleed, that is the question! 200 1986

No doubt what Shakespeare himself would have said had he driven a brick.

Greetings from the Hudson Valley;

I'm replacing the master cylinder on my 1986 245 wagon. I do not have a bench bleed kit, but I bleed my brake system with a power bleeder. Is it still necessary and/or advisable to bench bleed the new master cylinder anyway??
