wiring for rear wiper, 81 245 200

So, I looked around on the site, and then looked around on the Beast, and sure enough, the wiring for the rear wiper looks like it has eploded right where it runs through the ninge for the rear door. Any suggestions on getting in and re-wiring this? Is it as simple as "Remove-renew-replace"?
