The blinker on my '84 240 isn't working properly. Sometimes when I turn it on (either direction) it works fine. Sometimes it doesn't blink at all. If it doesn't I've found that banging on the dash or steering wheel will make it blink once. Also, sometimes I can hear the box blinking, even when the blinker isn't on. The light doesn't come on, but I can hear it. So..... I can get a new box for about $10. Can anyone tell me where to locate the blinker box (flasher)? Any tips on changing it? I'm aware that the wiring harnesses on these cars pretty much all go bad, so it could be that... but I'm going to try the box first and see if that's it. Thanks so much!
