Two separate questions:

1. Is it possible to bleed the front calipers without removing the front tires? If not, I'd like to put the front end on jackstands.
2. If the jackstands go under the OEM jack pins, where do you safely place a floor jack?? Is it better to place the floor jack beneath the OEM jack pins and place the jackstands elsewhere?? I find many of the manuals confusing on this issue as the jack stand and the jack cannot occupy the same spot on the car. I have three ton jackstands that appear to fit around the jack pins much more securely than the business end of my floorjack. I guess some vehicles present a more simple and logical solution to this dilemma than does my "86" wagon. Any thoughts and solutions are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
