interchange front and rear bumpers 700 1987

Rear bumper was to the point of falling off due to corrosion of dissimilar metals. I have a parts car, but suspect that the rear bumper on it may be in bad shape too. Has anyone used a front one on the rear. (I know the rubber is different, but I expect I can fit the proper rubber to it.)
