82 245 still dead in the drive way,it runs as long as the starter is engaged. 200

so what is it?it will only run for a few seconds then die ,or if you leave the starter on it keeps firing but will stop as soon as you let go of the key.so is it the relay,or the main pump,or is it in the ignition? i am stumped,... i jumped 97 and 30 and the fuel main fuel pump ran but the car would not.other than afew seconds,....help,kris
