Parents want to know what they did to there car...(non volvo)

They have a '94 camry with 91k and it over heated last weekend. They got the radiheator replaced, and today they went to start it and it made a horrible noise near the time belt area. The TB only has about 35k on it. It has also dripped some oil. I don't any idea except maybe a broken timing belt and a head gasket, but I would like to tell them something more pleasant.
