I appreciate all the tips and instruction on how to keep the bricks
moving...

I've got a 1991 945T and have a few questions on the conversion process from
R12 to R134a:

1) Called in to the local dealership and the guy said, "I've never done one
before, but I'd guess somewhere around $1000 to convert." Now I'm thinking
that's a little high, as my '91 Honda Accord cost somewhere around $230-ish.
My question then is: How much SHOULD it cost to convert the system?

2) How difficult is the conversion itself? Do I need special tools to
thoroughly test things out once the parts are in? Is this something I could do
myself or would I be better off letting a brick shop tackle?

3) After briefly going through Dave Urban's process, is the process on his 7xx
similar/identical to the process I'll see on my 945T?

4) Under the "How To Tips" in the portion of the 7xx/9xx FAQ, someone mentioned
they had received 27 pages of conversion instructions. Are those instructions
available anywhere? If so, where could they be found?

5) What kind of shops will do just an evacuation and recharge?

Any advice is greatly appreciated,
galen
