From VOLOVOLAMPS.COM, aka Frank's Foreign Auto in Orange N.J., I had ordered a couple of aftermarket tail lamps for my '92 240 wagon at $59.99 each. Shipping was a very reasonable $9 with a four-day turnaround.
Problem is I received them today, both were broken. The lamps had been bubble-wrapped together (plastic on plastic), not seperately, and crammed into an undersized box. I called them, they were helpful and filed a claim with UPS since it was over $100 value. UPS is supposed to pick them up Monday and contact them.
I would think that it is more of a packaging issue than mishandling by our friends in brown. Anyway, I pack and ship parts like this regularly and was surprised that the lamps were (mis)packaged as such. Anyone else done business with them? I'll keep y'all posted...
