So, I've noticed, along with all the other lovely sounds my beast makes, that after a long drive, when I put it into reverse and back up I can hear what sounds like a groan from the back end. As well, I sometimes get a clunk or groan first thing in the morning when pulling out of the driveway. I'm pretty sure it's not my E-brakes, I was under there last weekend and they looked fine and play easily. Could this be trailing arm bushings? Or is this indicative of something like my differential. My mechanic put her up in the air a few weeks back, looked at some things and tried to move some stuff around, and he said the bushings were fine. Is there a better/ more thurough way to check the bushins out? Thanks for any help.
