Too buy S90 or not?

My parents want to get a new car. There is a 98 S90 at my local new car dealor, that's interesting. It has 80000 and appears to be in good shape with the exception of the drivers door panel where you rest you arm. I would make sure they got the car inspected and probably change the TB if there was no recored of it. Is there any other real worries with this car other then the TB? I drive a 240 and love the easyness of working on it. Will the S90 be the same or similer? Lasty, are these cars getting 200000-300000 out of them selves like the old B230s? I'm not shure, but it almost seems asthough the price is a little high at 14000 what do you think? They have also thought about Mercedes and Lexus Ls400's. I would like to think the Volvo would be the best car for the money, but I really don't know a whole lot about any of these cars really.
Thanks and happy bricking.
