running cable-- Help with removal of left side interior trim 1992 965 900 1992

Looks like I'll have to run the Alpine cable to the right rear of the cargo area for the CHM S630. No luck on finding the simple adapter in prior post. (Unless somebody can point me to the makings for the adapter--a pair of female Volvo cd sockets fast--got a couple of wrecked radios you want to cannabalize?)

Would appreciate tips on removal of the necessary interior trim, and other obstructions along the route from the radio via the left doorstep area, back seats, etc. E.g., getting the surround for the hood release handle out of the way; what part of the back seat needs to be loosened/removed, etc. ( I'm assuming going down the left side just because the original cd changer cable runs that way, and I might as well remove it while I'm at it). Tried the 700/900 FAQ, but either what I'm looking there ain't there, or I'm so crosseyed with irritation that I didn't see it.
TIA
