Bricksters:

I have seen (mostly on Ebay descriptions) about a "feature" whereby one apparrently engages the O/D button on a 240 automatic when slowing down, so as to not use the brakes as often. The idea is similar to the downshifting common in straight drives. Can anyone tell me if this is Volvo's intentions or whether this is a good or bad idea?
