Hey Everyone,
I finally found out what was wrong with my 740 16 v. It wouldn't rev at all past 1500 or so rpms and it ended up being the ECU. I guess it was shutting off power to the injectors after a certain rpm. Can anyone explain to me why ecu's fail? A few hours after I replaced the computer, the main fuel pump went out completely. It was the original. After I replaced that, the car has been running great. That was two weeks ago and I haven't had problems since. Now I need to replace the tailshaft bushing and I'm set. Any ideas as to what kind of gas mileage to expect from a 16 V car?
