What's this button on my '89 245 dash? 200

OK - very simple question. On the left side, inbetween the headlight switch and the little nob that controls the lighting for the gauges, is a switch with a small half-moon like symbol with three lines coming off of that and a squiggly line that goes through the three lines. I'm still searching for an owner's manual, and the old '82 didn't have this, so your help on answering this question would be great! Thanks!
