240 GLE Overheating 200 1984

I have a 1984 240 GLE. The temperature gauge keeps going up unless I turn on the heater. The heater will cool it down.

I have replaced the thermostat, figuring it was stuck. This, unfortunately, did not fix the problem. The fan clutch seems to be ok, since the fan will spin, but with resistance, when the car is off.

The only other thing I can think off is the radiator, but I'm hoping that you guys know of something else!

Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
