Broken Sunroof 900 1993

Things were going so well since my last post, I had created a list of preventative maintenance, and a wish list, and then this, I am in Rulo, NE pop. 160 and when i come out to pack teh car for the return trip from the in-laws farm, I noticed that my sunroof is tilted with one side higher than the other. I get in and try to close it and the motor whirrs as if it is stuck.

Well sparing details, I get it back to KS and civilization, and in looking at it, it appears that on the right hand side of the sunroof assembly, there is a bracket or slotted guide that has snapped in half. I removed the broken portion that was still held in place by a torx screw,, but the rest of it is attached to the rod that extends over to the driver's side and to the track. Has anyone had this happen or had any luck repairing it?
