ecc stopped working 700 1989

The ecc in my 780 coupe just stopped! I get a continuous blinking light for a/c and fresh air switches. In dash (under radio) fuses are fine. Only difference: I put in a new battery. Before that ecc worked, now not at all. Any clues?
