Thoughts on 1988 Volvo 240GL value 200 1988

Recently purchased a new (115,000 miles) 1996 960 for my daughter (High School Senior next fall). This is to replace her 1988 244GL with 238,000.

She had driven her 1988 for a year (more or less) and it has been reliable - always started and never left her stranded. Did not pay much for it but have done some work (many many thanks to other brickboarders for their input). Now I am faced with too many cars in the driveway and still one newer vehicle promised to my son (got to keep things fair now).

Question is how much to sell her old Volvo for. Car is a New Mexico car with no rust and no visible damage (some scrapes here and there). Car is all there (few trim pieces missing), runs well and interior is 'okay' (wonderful what seat covers can do for a vehicle). Has many options offered. I am thinking of trying to sell it on my own for a week and then, if nothing else, give it to charity. Any thoughts on value? Watching values here in Albuquerque produces a very wide range.

As always, thanks for the input.

1988 240GL 238,000
1996 960 115,000
Also a Chevy, Plymouth and Acura
