Oil pressure light on intermittently - yikes! 700 1990

Recently bought a '90 745 turbo, 182k. Good condition in & out, rebuilt trans.
It sat most of 6 mos. while the PO tried to sell it. They started out asking $3500 which was too high, I got it for $1350. Needs brakes all around, rear shocks & other misc. I have only driven it 100-200 mi since I got it. The oil light comes on sometimes(not when I test-drove it, after I bought it, the PO says it never came on), and since the engine sounded good and performed well, I thought it was probably the sending unit. Or they said it had been running rich after sitting, but they had that fixed, so I changed the oil, thought maybe it had been thinned from gas. Yesterday, took it to a Volvo shop(not dealer) who looked over the car to see what I needed worked on, & replace the oil sending unit. Said the wiring was OK, thought the engine sounded too good to be a real oil pressure problem.
The light STILL comes on after 20-30 minutes of hot highway (60-70 mph) driving. The temp is OK. After I turn off the car for a few minutes, the light doesn't come back on for 5-10 minutes. Yesterday it came on a lot(hot, sunny & 85), I kept pulling over. After setting for 2 hrs, then driving in the cooler evening, it didn't came back on for the 2 hr ride home, but I mostly took back roads going around 50 mph. The timing belt cover says it was changed a few hundred miles ago, but I don't see how that would be related. Thanks for any ideas.
