Finally got the new saddle bracket, bolts and time enough to get under the 544 to replace the lost saddle bracket and discovered that it wasn't dirty under there, just hollow. There are two jagged holes where my IPD sway bar mount used to fit. Yikes.
This is a major body part with the threaded mounts. Any suggestions on how to remedy this? If I weld up something thick enough the geometry will be off between the mounts most likely (in my mind) to cause the other mount to depart in a similiar manner, or at best some odd handling charactoristics.
