My last post was my third attempt at passing emissions. My last reading was twice the standard. Thanks to brickboard (rstarkie and others) I changed the plugs, air filter, oxygen sensor, and switched to higher octane.

my last reading on my 200,000 plus 1986 240 gl was co2-0.00 and HC 0.00. Thanks fellow brickers.

Can anyone tell me the advantages or personal stories of cleaning the throttle body.

1988 240 auto-130,000+
1986 240 auto-200,000+
1984 240 manual-131,000
