Propshaft bearing renewal 200

According to advice received thus far, I've probably got a problem with the propshaft centre bearing (causing variable groaning and lots of vibration throughout the driving range). Question then, is it possible to clean out, repack with grease? Or does the bearing itself need replacing. In other words should I get a part before removing the propshaft?
