91 240 has a Kazoo in the dash at 100KM. 200 1991

Okay, I know it sounds weird- but when I take the car over 100K P/H a noise that sounds like a Kazoo starts up. It comes from inside the center of the dash. I am suspicious of air leaking through the firewall some how. If we close air ducts there is no change to the pitch or volume of the sound. If a car cuts in front and changes the air flow around the car the sound will go away until I am again in undisturbed air.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem with a 240 and if so, what was the solution? Other than this issue, this car is wonderful.
