Distributor compatibility '84 & '87 vehicles. 200 1987

I've just completed the swap and now have an '84 B23F engine transplanted into an '87 240 Wagon (M47-II). I used the '87 style wiring harness, ECU, and ignition system, and a few improvements here and there (some new seals, '88+ breather box, etc). I turned the key, -and it didn't start. No fuel and no spark. If my memory serves me correctly, I need to swap the distributors too (which has not been done), but I'm hoping that someone can confirm that for me before I resume work in the morning.

Can I swap the Hall Effect Sensors, or should I just pull and swap the entire distributor? Suggestions and opinions are welcome.

God bless,
Fitz Fitzgerald.
