My headlights are the composite ones with Fog, Highbeam and Low/High in the one unit.

Question one - are there separate adjustments - particularly for fog which seems to be too far to the sides, with little straight ahead. To me, it appears that the whole thing adjusts in one piece.

Question two - Assuming that the answer to the question above is that it all stays in one piece (I'm hoping I'm wrong, though), then what do the 3 adjusters do. I could "fiddle" and get the answer, but I'm hoping someone knows.

The owners manual says something like "take them to your friendly Volvo dealer", so I checked my Haines - guess what - it says the same. Aligning them should be simple - I have always checked my headlight adjustment every year or so, covering all except one light at a time on a dark lonely road.
