Brake Light on a 940 900 1994

I have searched the forum and done everything suggested and still can't figure out my brake light troubles. My left brake lights are out. When I hit the brakes the bulb failure warning comes on the instrument panel. The bulbs aren't burned out though and I've tried replacing them with new ones and that didn't help. I checked the fuses and they are all good. I took out my radio and everything under it so I could get to the Bulb Failure Relay. Took it out, inspected all the connections and they were all tight and well soldered. I even got a little steel wool and cleaned the contact pins coming out of the bottom. No luck. I've run out of options. I also took the working brake light unit from the right side and tried it on the left and it didn't work so I suppose it's not the bulb contacts. Any ideas? Is there a hidden fuse somewhere? I noticed on the wiring diagram that it mentions a number 1 and 2 fuse for the two sides but I have no idea where they might be.

Thanks,

Josh
