While counterintuitive I'm trying to determine if my E-fan is not powerful enough in terms of CFM and want to see if the temp spikes even if the fan is on at all times especially with the AC. The current pre-set temp probe in the radiator fins is crap and that will be junked for an adjustable temp probe that contacts the coolant. I'm about to pick up a Spal 16" with 2360 CFM but before ditching the 16" Hayden (1600 CFM) I want to run this test to determine that it is indeed the crappy temp sensor. Currently the fan is powered by the battery and connected to a relay which is engaged at 185 and off at 170. Any easy way to do this?? Damn tired of turning on the heat but not ready to give up and put the mechanical fan back!!! Thanks as always!
