HOW TO: A/C coupling connections 900 1991

morning all,

if you'd allow me to pick your collective minds, there's a sort of problem i'm having with the r12>r134a conversion.

i purchased the conversion kit from fcpgroton and yesterday, upon opening the hood to commence the work, i found that the connection of the pipes to the receiver is made using some fairly large nut sizes (correct term?).

anyways, i know i could probably use a crescent wrench to disconnect the receiver, but the main question was what tools i would need to reconnect the receiver.

according to dave urban's instruction, when reconnecting the receiver, there are specifications to be met in terms of torquing the nuts. i purchased some crowsfeet from sears to use in conjunction with the torque wrench, but the largest size turned out to be too small. they have no larger sizes in their catalog, either. needless to say, i accomplished nothing yesterday.

so my question directed at those who have made the conversion is: what tools and procedures did you use to make the conversion possible while meeting the torque specifications?

the torque specs from dave urban's instructions are here:

thanks to all in advance...!
