I found a Volvo mechanic in New Orleans and I'm going to try and get my Dad's '86 240 air conditioning working again. Before I take the car to the mechanic, I'm going to change out the blower motor. I've already printed out the website photos and instructions on the blower motor replacement; however, I'm just wondering if there is "classic" information already posted about the A/C system work. For example...replacing the compressor or replacing the evaporator. This is an '86 240. We don't know what's wrong with the A/C system yet..but I'm betting either there is a leak somewhere ..perhaps in the evaporator. Just wondering if you can send me a link. Thanks.
