Don't believe I have ever read about this one.....
Changing out my brakes now after a years' worth of Autocross event driving and commuting to/from same.
While the front pads are worn about 75%, I have almost no wear on the rear pads!
In fact, there was a bit of rust on the pads, even...
When I installed things a year ago, I did install a used master cylinder and bench bled it.
Now I am searching for the cause of this under use of the rear circuit.
(The car has ABS, so, it is front/rear circuits, not diagonal)
Suggestions on how to trouble shoot this?
I am thinking there is a hard line plugged somewhere exiting the master cylinder or ABS unit. Maybe a kink on the way to the rear axle.
How can a test be made to see if a circuit is blocked, and where?
Is there a *safe* way to open both ends of a line below the MS and use air to sort of "backflush" the line to clean it out?
Is there one or two lines to the rear calipers? (I didn't have time to look under there)
